Engine and alternator cooling
Engine cooling is based on a closed internal coolant circulation system. The system is based on a cupronickel seawater/coolant heat exchanger, where heat transfer takes place between the two fluids. Two separate pumps ensure the circulation of coolant and seawater. Air cooling inside the generator is achieved by means of a seawater/air heat exchanger. This ensures efficient alternator cooling and maintains the optimum temperature for the best performance and reliability of the generator, regardless of its intended use and ambient temperature.

Sound insulation
Completely redesigned and reconstructed, the sound shield is made of painted aluminum panels. Extremely durable and lightweight, it allows the easiest possible access to the internal parts of the generator for servicing. Both the main frame and the panels are made of 5754 aluminum alloy.
